New River - Peppers Ferry Bridge

Approx Travel Time = 15-20 min

- Follow Prices Fork Rd. from Virginia Tech Campus toward 460.
- Continue on Prices Fork Rd. for about 7 miles until it ends at a stop light with a gas station on the right.
- Make a right at the light onto Peppers Ferry Rd.
- Follow Peppers Ferry Rd until you cross over a bridge (about 2.2 miles)
- Make the first left after the bridge onto a dirt road.
- Park under the bridge and begin diving!

Lake Rawlings

Approx Travel Time = 3 hr 45 min

Directions from Website

- Take U.S. 460 East into Blackstone.
- Look for Route 40, and go East to McKenney, VA.
- Turn Right on U.S. 1, Heading South.
- Go approximately 5 1/2 miles, passing the Nottoway Motel / Restaurant on Left.
- After crossing Route 712, go 1.2 miles to Route 629, and Turn Right.
- Go 1.4 miles on Route 629 to Quarry Lane and turn right.
- Follow Quarry Lane straight to the main gate!
